Importing and Exporting RSS feeds from other programs and to other programs, respectively, has become a very necessary and helpful task to keep up with activities that require every kind of information to be present at all imperative places and software programs and applications. An RSS feed here should imply the same RSS feed elsewhere as an when the requirement is brought up.

Suppose you have a bunch of RSS feeds in your Internet Explorer ( by the way, we are talking about Internet Explorer on Windows 7 ) that you need on another computer or laptop, or in another application or software program, so export them from Internet Explorer to that particular destination. Or maybe you need to transfer them from any program or application to Internet Explorer. Well, you can do that too (import it into Internet Explorer). You can thus import and export RSS feeds in Internet Explorer. Both can be done equally easily and conveniently by just following a few steps. And you’ve got your RSS feeds right where you need them.

First, let’s take a look at Exporting:

Open internet Explorer (it could either be on your desktop, or you can get it by clicking on the Start Button). Go to Favorites, and hit the arrow next to Add to Favorites, and click on Import and Export. Hit Export to a File from the Import/Export Dialog box. Then click on Next. Check Feeds in the check box, and hit next. A file called Feeds.opml (it stores the exported feeds) is made by Internet Explorer in the Documents folder (this is done on its own) but if you want to give it a name of your choice, you can do that, too. Click Export and then Click on Finish. That’s it; you’ve exported a file from Internet Explorer! Easy enough, isn’t it?

Now to come to Importing (that’s easy, too):

Again, open internet Explorer (it could either be on your desktop, or you can get it by clicking on the Start Button). Go to Favorites, and hit the arrow next to Add to Favorites, and click on Import and Export. Hit Import from a File from the Import/Export Dialog box. Then click on Next. Check Feeds in the check box, and hit next. A file called Feeds.opml (it stores the imported feeds) is made by Internet Explorer in the Documents folder (this is done on its own) but if you want to give it a name of your choice, you can do that, too. Click Import and then Click on Finish. And you’ve imported feeds! Now, wasn’t that quite easy?

So now you can import and export RSS feeds in Internet Explorer!
